Workshops are unique learning opportunities that involve discussions, seminars, and the exchange of ideas from top professionals in the LSP field. Through demonstrations, participants learn appropriate techniques on how to appropriately apply concepts.

Request a Traveling Suitcase from the University of Florida’s Center for Latin American Studies

Traveling Suitcases are artifact collections reflecting daily life in specific countries and regions. Each of the 13 suitcase themes includes the following:

  • Artifacts– suitcases are collections of items from Latin American countries. Students are encouraged to handle and explore the artifacts in the classroom.
  • Sample Lesson Plans– need help with ideas on incorporating traveling suitcases into your classroom? Use our sample lesson plans to help generate ideas.
  • Inventory Checklist– this document lets you know what items are included in each suitcase.
