Beatriz Sedano Cuevas is a graduate student of Spanish Philology (University of Valladolid) and Comparative Literature (Complutense University, Madrid). Additionally she has completed a Masters in Applied Linguistics for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (University of Jaén).

She has been an ELE teacher for 7 years in various education centers in Granada, Burgos and Madrid and presently is working on her PhD thesis in the Education & Treatment of Languages through the ICT PhD program at the National University of Distance Learning, Spain (UNED).

She has participated in numerous national and international congresses and her focus has been Spanish Education with specific purposes and the design of learning curriculums for Spanish language courses. The theme of her thesis is the design of courses for Spanish to be used for travel and tourism.
